Mega Leaf Crunch

The Mega Leaf Crunch (MLC) is currently the most powerful Reset, referred to as "Mega Crunching." When you mega crunch, you earn MLC coins.

After unlocking Floor 101, it becomes possible to MLC at any given time. This first requires that you defeat Evil Bob in The Leaf Tower at Floor 100, however Evil Bob does not need to be defeated every time if the Crunchy Tower Gem Shop or MLC Shop upgrade is owned.

The amount of MLC Coins is based on the highest boss floor you have cleared in The Leaf Tower, your current amount of BLC Coins, Shop Upgrades, and bonuses from crafted leaves.

Reset

Mega Crunching resets leaves, flasks, and tokens. A lot of things can be preserved through the reset if you have purchased the appropriate upgrades.

Leaves from Basic to Sand Upgrades from Basic through Benitoite shops Leaves gained per second that get counted for Offline Leaf Rewards — all Leaf Types Flasks and Upgrades The Leaf Tower Current High Floor — Crunchy Tower upgrades can retain some of the floor progress. Tokens and Upgrades Borb Taxi must be enabled again in the Ancient Shop and Silver Token Shop. Prestige Coins and Upgrades, unless you have the MLC upgrade Crunchy Coins, which gives Prestige coins from crunching. Either way, you will get a large number of coins from the next Prestige because the total leaves collected factor is retained. BLC Coins and Upgrades, unless you have the MLC upgrade Crunchy BLC, which gives BLC coins from crunching. Tools unless you have the gem shop trait It's mine!. Areas unless you have the MLC upgrade Crunchy Areas. Printers unless you have the MLC upgrade Unlimited+1 Printer Ink. Converters must be restarted. MLC Coins and Upgrades The Max BLC factor that gets counted for Offline BLC Ancient Leaves and higher with their Upgrades. This includes Gem Leaves. Artifacts — You have to reunlock them with 50m BLC Coins in the BLC Shop, but you keep all of the Artifacts. Crafting — You have to reunlock Crafting to get the effects, but you keep the crafted leaves. When you crunch, you earn MLC coins which can be used to purchase permanent upgrades. You can earn more MLC per crunch by your highest floor in The Leaf Tower as well as your current amount of BLC Coins.

Checklist for things to do before you MLC.

• The Leaf Tower:
  • Ensure you've reached your highest possible floor.
• Crafting:
  • Ensure you've used crafted leaves with the More Tower Floors property (Level 8/ Moonstone+) to reach your highest possible floor.
  • Equip any crafted leaves with MLC+ or MLC%+ properties.
• Buy MLC upgrades:
  • Gem Leaves () — but note that gem leaves persist after BLC/MLC, and gem leaf MLC gains are tiny.
  • Other leaves: Moonstone, Sand
  • Check amounts in case you're close to another upgrade.
• Crunchy Upgrades:
  • If you have Crunchy Seeds Lite, ensure you have at least 1 of each seed.
  • If you have Crunchy BLC, check the BLC preparation guide.
  • Check for any unpurchased Crunchy upgrades. All of them are useful.
• Toggles & Autobuyers:
  • Ensure toggleable upgrades are enabled (eg. Crunchy Seeds Lite).
  • If you have Autobuy Priority Device: Check your autobuyers purchase amounts, especially for BLC upgrades.
• Misc:
  • Get MLC x 3 from the Gems Shop, as soon as you can.

Crafted Leaves Bonus:

The bonuses from all your crafted leaves that are in use (not in backpack) are added together.

Crafted leaves do not benefit from your BLC multiplier, but they will benefit from Master of MLC upgrades and the MLC Coins x3 from the gem shop.

Master of MLC Multiplier:

The values from all your Master of MLC upgrades are added together.

So three from the MLC shop (10% ea), two from the Moon Leaf shop (5% ea), and 12 from the Gem Leaves shop (1% ea) would give a total of 3×10% + 2×5% + 12×1% = 52% bonus or a multiplier of 1.52

Gem Shop Multiplier:

If you have the MLC Coins x3 upgrade from the gems shop then your whole total after all bonuses is tripled!

Minimum Value:

If you would somehow MLC for less than 10 MLC Coins, you will always get at least 10.

Mega Leaf Crunching Strategy

Once you have unlocked Crunchy Areas and Crunchy Tower, Mega Leaf Crunching will be immediately available. This also makes earning MLC much easier after these two upgrades are purchased easy after you have unlocked the ability to get it!

Beforehand, the priority is entirely focused upon More Tower Floors, as this will make the most immediate difference to your MLC income.

After increasing your tower floor cap by 20 or 40 levels, one tier of crunchy BLC is very useful.

Amber leaves should be your first Gem Leaf purchase as they massively increase your combo multiplier. Quickly unlock all Gem leaves and prioritize the upgrade that makes the combo affect them.

The Silver and Gold Converters allow you to generate massive silver token income from strange flasks, and silver tokens respectively. This allows you to quickly jump back to the highest floors of the tower after Mega Leaf Crunching to continue to advance your highest achieved floor.

Crunchy Pets, Crunchy Unique Leaves, and Unlimited Printer Ink all substantially increase your ability to earn BLC immediately after crunching.

At this point, purchasing the BLC upgrade bot and turning on crafting certificate (and more at your discretion) will further speed up BLC earning.
