Printers add certain Basic Leaf.png Leaf Types to your inventory at each printer tick interval. The feature is unlocked from the Coins shop for Prestige coin.png 200.

Printers continue to operate offline but Printer Printers do not.

Printer Types

All types of leaves up to Silicon Leaf.png Silicon have printers, other than Obsidian Leaf.png Obsidian and Benitoite Leaf.png Benitoite. There are no printers for Strange Flask.png Flasks.

In the table below, n denotes the number of printers.

  1. ↑ Bigger Printer Room: It's been estimated that after maxing this out, acquiring all the printers would take about 50 years (excluding dice effects, which, assuming max rolls, brings it down to just over 2 years). Therefore it's probably not necessary to upgrade this past about level 7.

Strategy

At least one printer for each type of leaf is helpful in order to quickly unlock the first upgrade or two of each shop, and prices for the first printer are cheap.

Beyond that, printers are usually not worth the cost until you can print printers, because you can get way more by just blowing away leaves or collecting Leaf Seeds. However, printers are a good help with the initial cost of leaf seeds, and with the Robot Leaf.png Robot Leaf and Deero.png Deero, they can be surprisingly powerful for passive income.
