Souls

Souls are types of materials. They can used as a form of currency in the Soul Shop, as well as unlocking new floors in The Crypt and Forging Soul Leaves.

Unlocking and Obtaining

Soul Brewing is unlocked after unlocking the Death Book in the Terror Graveyard. Brewing Souls is a method of obtaining 4 different souls:

• Soul Stone * - can also be obtained with the bonus reward in the Crypt.
• Soul Particle * - can also be obtained by clearing Crypt floors or dropped from boss Soul Mirage.
• Soul Entity* ‎- can also be obtained with the bonus reward in the Crypt or dropped from boss Soul Mirage.
• Soul Flask

While there are only 4 souls obtained via Alchemy, each of these Soul Resources have 2 brewing recipes. See more here.

There are 2 more resources, which are both obtained in different ways. Those are:

• Raw Soul Stone - obtained via the Soul Boost Chance upgrade in the Death Book. ‎
• Soul Key - obtained by clearing Crypt floors or dropped from boss Soul Mirage.

Usage

Raw Soul Stones

Raw Soul Stones are the first Soul material obtained. They are required for Brewing Soul Stones, and are also used for obtaining & leveling the Soul Trout and the Soul Shovel. Some of the Death Book upgrades cost Raw Soul Stones.

Soul Stones

Soul Stones are one of the materials required to unlock the Soul Realm portal. They are used for upgrades in the Soul Shop, as a resource for brewing Soul Particles as well as for unlocking Soul Crypt floors. Keep in mind that Soul Stones do become useless relatively fast.

Soul Particles

Soul Particles are used for buying some of the upgrades found in the Soul Shop, as well as a resource for brewing Soul Entities. They are also used to purchase boss cards from the Bank.

Soul Keys

Soul Keys are mainly used for brewing Soul Flasks, as well as for unlocking Soul Crypt floors.

Soul Entities

Soul Entities are used for upgrades in the Soul Shop, as well as brewing Soul Flasks.

Soul Flasks

Soul Flasks are used for upgrades in the Soul Shop, as well as for upgrades in the Soul Forge. They are by far the most useful Soul resource of them all.

Refined Soul Stone

Refined Soul Stones are used in Banks to either upgrade them or purchase galaxies.
