Pets

Pets can be unlocked in the BLC Shop for 1m (1e6) and then each pet will cost another 2m (2e6) to purchase. Initially only one pet can be used, but it is possible to use more with unlocks. They give bonuses similar to Unique Leaves. You can additionally purchase Pet Skins, to change their cosmetic appearance.

	Camelo	Chest spawn chance +2% Ancient Leaves rewards +5%	Excellent when farming the Pyramid.
	Catto	Increase Enemy resource awards by +200%	Helpful for farming Celestial Leaves, and in the The Leaf Tower.
	Cheesetor	Auto collects 1 cheese every 2 mins. Triple cheese if you're in The Moon area. Dice Battlefield damage: +3% Leaf value multiplier: +5% Mine power: +3% Nature global upgrade bonus: +3% Relics damage multiplier: +3%	Good alternative to Mouseo. Gives +2 cheese p/min at level 10. Additionally, it's a decent pet to buff general stats.
	The Cursed Cheese	Gain 3 curses per minute	Not the same as Cursed Cheese Equipment. Good for AFK curse collection. Gains 180 curse p/hour. Needs 666 curses to unlock.
	Crabbo	Blower enemy damage +50%	Makes a significant difference in many fights.
	Deero	Increases Printer rewards by 1000%.	1000% means x10, which is huge. Very useful from when you first unlock Mythical-through-Ice Leaves to when you unlock the seeds for those leaves.
	Doggo	Max combo multiplier: +50%	Good for farming Celestial, Mythical, Lava and Ice leaves. Catto is better for Celestial.
	Ducko	Material spawn chance: +1%	Good for active material farming. Great for AFK material farming in The Dark Glade if you have the Material Magnet Gems upgrade.
	Elephanto	Dice drop chance: +0.25%	Significantly increases random Dice awarded through Battlefield.
	Fisho	Blower enemy damage +15% Enemy resource awards +50% Slap damage +5%	Not as good as Crabbo for damage, or Catto for enemy rewards, but a nice buff when you have multiple pets.
	Flamingoo	+100% the energy in certain areas	Available after unlocking Electrical Energy.
	Flocko	Reduces Artifact spawn time by 20% Applies after the next Artifact spawns.	Handy for farming Orb of BLC artifacts from The Volcano.
	Foxo	BLC coins: +200%	Additive. VERY good for BLC runs.

	Moleo	Mines caves rarity +10% Mine cave rewards +10% Mine power +20%	Very useful for speeding up The Mines.
	Monkeyo	Leaf blow power +1000%	Helps with heavy leaves such as Biotite.
	Mouseo	5% chance to steal 1 cheese from a defeated enemy.	Can be an alternative to Cheesetor or paired with them if you can use multiple pets. Upgrading to level 10 gives 2 stolen cheese.
	Owlo	Increase merged leaves count by +2	Improves gain of Obsidian Leaves and Benitoite Leaves somewhat.
	Penguino	Decreases trade delivery time by 25% Decrease trade refresh time by 10%	Very useful. Drastically reduces delivery times. Only affects new trades, not trades in progress. Pairs well with Water Leaf.
	Panthero	+1% chance to skip a tower floor. Can't skip bosses.	Available at Tower Floor level 500.
	Piggo	Auto Leaf Counter +0.005/s Leaf Counter bet chance +5% Leaf Counter bet multiplier +25% Leaf Counter multiplier +5% Leaf Counter value +3	Helps increase the Leaf Counter.
	Raccoono	Seed spawn chance +1% Seed spawn count +1	VERY good for gaining any leaf that has seeds. You still need to buy at least 1 lvl of any seed, to make it show up. Pairs well with Rainbow Leaf.
	Sealo	Decrease Leafscender input cost by 5% Decrease Leafscender duration by 10% Does not reduce the initial leafscension cost (that is, level 1).	Equip temporarily when leafscending to level 2 or higher. Available after unlocking Leafscension.
	Sharko	Increase drop chance of cards by 0.5%	Use it to get more cards if you can spare the pet slot. Available after unlocking Cards.
	Snekko	Max Player HP: +30%
	Spider Bro	HP Regeneration: +20% Reduce incoming damage: -10%	Helps survive in the Infernal Desert.
	Squirrelo	Increase Celestial Leaves rewards: +400%	Good for farming Celestial Leaves. Pairs well with Catto and Doggo.
	Toucano	Gain 2 random materials per minute	Good for AFK material farming and does not depend on the area. Since the materials obtained are not on screen, there is no limit even without the Material Magnet Gems upgrade.
	Trouto	Auto slap every 10 seconds.
	Witcho	Increases rewards for killing The Witch. Witch Curses : +10 Witch Essence: +1	Important for better rewards. Available after defeating The Witch 10 times.

Equipping Additional Pets

A maximum of 11 pets can be used at a time.

• Zoo Necklace is a guaranteed drop within the first 50 rounds of playing the Slot Machine, and it lets you use an additional pet.
• Zoo Ring is a random drop in The Leaf Tower or a prize from the Borb Claw Machine. It lets you use 2 extra pets when the ring is upgraded to level 10.
• Cursed Dice Total Save Count 6666 awards one extra pet slot.
• Petless Challenge allows for an additional pet upon completion.
• The Leaf Tower Milestone requires floor 100,000 to be reached and lets you use an additional pet.
• Drilling 25,000 meters deep using the Depth Drill awards one extra pet slot.
• The Soul Crypt Milestone requires floor 25 to be reached and defeated allows you an additional pet.
• The Leafton Pit Milestone requires 100 kills to be achieved in floor/level 20.
• The Nature Season event awards one extra pet as the level 100 reward

Upgrades

Upon upgrading pets, the pet will gain +10% of their original bonus per level. This lasts until level 10, when they gain a total of +100% to their bonus effect, effectively doubling it.

Pets also gain +Blowing Enemy Damage% after level 10 (starting at +5k% at level 10). The formula for this is:

• 100 x (Current Pet Level) x floor(Current Pet Level/2)

Exceptions & Special Cases

While most pets gain +10% bonus per level (up to level 10), there are some exceptions:

Pet	Notes
Cheesetor	Only upgrades buffs until level 10, then gains +1 cheese per 2 mins. The two minute timer never changes.
Flocko	Only gets +0.4% artifact spawn time per level. Maxes out at +2% at level 10, which is only 10% of their base bonus, rather than 100%.
Mouseo	Gains +0.1 cheese per level, maxing out at +1 cheese at level 10, which gives them 2 cheese per steal Mouseo also seems to gain an increased drop chance, but it's unclear how this works. The stat is named "Enemy drop chance Cheese" and increases by +50% per level (up to +500% at level 10). More info is needed on this stat; it might be a typo so could actually be +0.5% p/level (totalling at another +5% steal chance).

Upgrade Costs

Unlocking level 1 requires 10 Leaf Essence (100 Scarab and 100 Dark Matter). After that, the costs lower to 3 Leaf Essence for Level 2, and increase by 3 x (Current Pet Level)^1.05. Pets must be equipped to give damage boost.

This table shows the Leaf Essence requirements to upgrade to level 10 (the maximum for increasing the bonus effect):

You will need 158 to upgrade a pet to level 10. To brew 158 with Alchemy will take 1600 Scarab + 1600 Dark Matter. These materials can be farmed in the areas The Infernal Desert (Scarab) and Space (Dark Matter). Alternatively, they can also be gained from trading other materials with Torvald in Kokkaupunki.

Maximums

You can at max get 370% effect.

• 100% base — In other words x1, our starting point that will be used for calculations.
• 100% from upgrades to level 10, doubling the effect.
• 46% from Butterflyo
• 74% from Pet Leaf.
• 30% from Better Pets
• 20% from Pet Scroll.

The 20% base effect of Butterflyo can be increased to 46%.

• 100% base
• 100% from upgrades
• 30% from Better Pets
• Other bonuses do not apply to Butterflyo.

For example, Owlo will at max produce +7 merged leaves and does that at level 8. Further upgrades provide no benefit.

Here is one way to reach 2 minutes' trade, which is the minimum: Lvl 5 Penguino, Lvl 5 Butterflyo, Lvl 7 Water Leaf, Better Pets, Better Unique Leaves, Trading Scroll, and Trader's Crunch Challenge.

Petting Pets

To pet a Pet, while not in a menu, click on your equipped pet. If successfully petted, the pet will do a backflip to indicate how happy it is!. There is a 60 second cool down before you can next pet, but it is possible to refresh this timer by reequipping the pet. Used to unlock the Pet the Pets achievement.

How many times you have petted a pet will increase the effect of the Lil' Doggo equipment.

Strategy

For BLC runs: Equip Bunnyo for converter speed (for the BLC Flask upgrade) and when you're about to crunch equip all the BLC Modifiers ( Ghost Leaf, Foxo...)

For Coin Runs: Equip Raccoono and anything that boosts seeds and then simply AFK til you hit the Leaf cap.

For Celestial Leaves and on (If you don't have the Seeds) get the Combo, Enemy and Leaf boosting modifiers ( Squirrelo/ Catto/ Doggo, Glitter Leaf...) and AFK (for Celestial you might need the Fire Leaf as well.)

Deero is very helpful when you first unlock Mythical Leaves and beyond. Once your printers are max and making a few million of each leaf a second, I would recommend equipping Deero and relying on printers to cut the time it takes to go from unlocking Mythical through Ice to buying the first seed by a large portion. However, once you have all of the seeds for each leaf, it is much better to instead afk for a few hours with Raccoono, and then spending the leaves to max out your seeds. Doing this will let you max out each shop in about a day or two each.

Once you get into material farming, it is recommended to upgrade Ducko and Butterflyo first. You need Leaf Essence to start upgrading pets, but it is not viable until you unlock The Dark Glade and have Material Magnet Upgrade. You can also unlock Kokkaupunki to trade materials with Torvald, NPC that trades Scarab with additional Dark Matter with the extra materials.

Note: floor() returns the largest integer less than or equal to a given number; You would only gain the Blowing Enemy Damage bonus if you equip it and it is recommended to upgrade Butterflyo, Crabbo, and one other pet (or two if you have done Petless challenge) that's higher than the rest of your pets. 3 Lvl 58 or 4 Lvl 50 will save more Leaf Essence and still outdamage 1 Lvl 100 pet.
