Nature Season

The Nature Season is a spring exclusive event introduced in update v2.20.0. It originally took place on May 1st 2023 to August 1st 2023. Although being exclusive to spring, it is still accessible through the Nature Pack and the Nature Rod artifact. It introduces 4 new areas, a new shop, a new boss & more. The second Nature Season will take place from May 1st 2024 to August 1st 2024.

The Basics

In the Farm Field area, you can plant flowers on fields, which take time to grow depending on the flower. When fully grown, harvesting them will give Nature Gems and Nature XP. Nature Gems are used as a means of currency to purchase upgrades from the Nature Shop, while Nature XP increases the Season Pass level. A different way of obtaining Nature Gems is through killing the Doomed Tree boss, located in The Doomed Tree area. There is a chance of it dropping Nature Gems. Each flower gives a buff, that is only rewarded if the flower is fully grown and the bonus is removed after the flower is harvested. Same goes with butterflies. Unwanted flowers and butterflies can be Salvaged for Magic Mulch.

To get flowers, you can either collect them from the Vial of Life (which is located in the Vial of Life area), or trade for them in the "Quests" tab located in the Season Pass menu in exchange for Clovers. Vial of Life flowers do have a cap, but it is very high. You can afk in the Vial of Life area and come back to "hundreds" of flowers.

If a flower has a synergy with the flower next to them (only if the Plant Synergy upgrade is unlocked), the flower will boost the bonus effect of the flower next to them, depending on how good their synergy is. See the best plant synergies/combinations below. If 2 of the same plant are next to each other, both their bonuses get reduced by -50% (the same is the case for Butterflies).

Additionally, you can enhance your fields. Enhancing your fields increases the XP gained from plants grown in that field, as well as improving the plant bonuses if you have the Synergy Enhancing upgrade from the Nature Shop. Enhancing fields costs Magic Mulch, and has a 4 hour cooldown in-between enhances (only for the field you enhanced). The cost of Magic Mulch increases by ${\lfloor 2*(1+{{\text{Current Enhance}}^{1.3}})\rceil }$ every enhance. The cooldown as well as the cost for enhancing fields can be reduced by the Faster Enhancing and the Synergy Enhancing upgrades. Magic Mulch can be obtained through Quests, by killing Doomed Tree (a drop chance), from salvaging flowers and butterflies and from Borbventures.

Time Sphere is a special material which can skip 15 minutes off a plant, and 30 minutes if the plant is fully watered. They are obtained through Quests, by killing Doomed Tree (a drop chance) and from Borbventures.

Nature Gems (mythic & legendary only), Magic Mulch, Time Spheres, and clovers can all be obtained in Borbventures, by enabling the setting "Generate event resources" in the settings tab located in the Borbventures menu. Although, keep in mind that each Nature Borbventure item has an internal cooldown, meaning that each item has a specific cooldown until it can appear again.

Flowers & Butterflies

Flowers can be obtained from the Vial of Life. The amount can be increased from the Nature Shop upgrades. They can additionally be obtained from the Quests tab, located in the Season Pass menu, in exchange for Clovers.

Butterflies are an upgrade for the Nature Season Event. They provide massive XP boosts to flowers on their respective land. After finishing the season pass, it's better to use them based on their effects just like the plants. They have a chance to be obtained when harvesting a flower. That chance starts at 0%, but can be increased from the Butterfly Cuddler upgrade in the Nature Shop. Butterflies can only be grown when a fully grown flower is on their respective field.

Season Pass & Quests

The Season Pass is a Nature Season battle pass system, providing rewards ranging from tiers 1-100. Every tier requires $3+level^{2}$XP. By buying the Nature Pack, you get the premium pass, which gives an additional reward for every tier, Tier 100 gives an additional pet slot, as well as an additional Active Scroll, and 750 gems. The premium pass gives an additional 5000 (5e3) gems, as well as Nature global upgrade multiplier +25%. Keep in mind that every F2P reward that ends with a 7 does not give a reward.

Nature Shop

It is recommended to buy up to at least level 6-7 Weakness Finders first in the Nature Shop, then focus on Water Bot + Water Upgrades, and then focus on Plant Upgrades, until you get to Level 10 - 11 Weakness Finder, then save up for synergies and butterflies (credit to Shadeybrook). You should never harvest a butterfly unless you want to replace it with a better one (see the butterfly list above to see which are the best). Since butterflies provide a huge XP boost to flowers when fully grown, the XP butterflies give when harvested is nothing compared to the boost they give when fully grown (credit to Ruiner).
