Resets

There are three primary Resets in the game: Prestige, Big Leaf Crunch, and Mega Leaf Crunch. Other ways to reset are by starting a challenge or by completely hard resetting the game. Additionally, some resets only reset specific resources/mechanics/upgrades. Some or all resources and upgrades will be lost depending on the type of reset.

Entering new areas such as the Black Leaf Hole does not result in a reset.

Prestige	Prestige	The earliest reset must be performed in order to unlock Areas. Produces Coins.
Big Leaf Crunch	Crunch	Available from Flasks. Produces BLC Coins.
Mega Leaf Crunch	Mega Crunch	Available after defeating Bob. Produces MLC Coins.
Quarkstige	Quarkstige	Unlike previous resets, Quarkstige only resets Quarks in the Quark Reactor, and provides Quantum Blobs in return. It isn't a primary reset.
Challenges	-	At the beginning of a challenge you start over in Home Garden. Completing a challenge gives bonuses and Medals.
Hard Reset	-	To completely start over the game, including all challenge progress, go to Options > Misc > Hard reset. The same result can be achieved by deleting the save.dat file. This will also reset options, which you can preserve by copying options.dat.
