Tools

Tools increase your efficiency by increasing the power and radius in which leaves are blown. Tools are purchased with Leaves, Flasks, or Tokens. All tools can be upgraded to increase the spawn chance of the material used to upgrade it. Tools with special bonuses unlock them at level 10. Tools reset when Prestiging/Big Leaf Crunching/Mega Leaf Crunching. Purchasing the It's Mine! Gem Shop upgrade prevents tools from resetting upon a Prestige/Big Leaf Crunch/Mega Leaf Crunch.

Types

Blowing Power and Range affects ALBs if ALB Tools is purchased from the BLC Shop.

Swords

Swords have increased effects when the Leaf Scroll is active.

Level 10 bonus: Increases resource gain by 100%. Level 100 bonus: Increases resource by 200% (This only affects the Leaf Sword).

Shovels

Level 10 bonus: Increase dig count by 1. Level 100 bonus: Increase dig count by 1 (Extra digs stack between shovels to a total of +8).

Upgrading

Tools can be upgraded using materials. At tool level increments of 20, 30, 40 etc, tools will cost Dark Essence to upgrade.

Upgrading tools with materials increases that respective material's spawn chance by 0.1% (Soul Trout/Shovel increasing the materials respective storage). It also increases Blower Enemy Damage; this can also be increased with Malachite Leaf Focused Tools upgrades. The maximum level that all tools can be upgraded is 100, but can be increased to 150 by purchasing Biotite Leaf Max Tool Level upgrades. At Level 10, tools gain an additional bonus. Shovels, Trouts, and the Leaf Sword also gain special bonuses at level 100, noted above.

You do not need to have a tool equipped in order to gain the benefits of its upgrades.

Blowing power

As you progress further into the game Leaves vary in weight and require more Nuclear Fuel to blow them off screen Exotic Leafs are the first time the player notices the effects of Nuclear Fuel. With enough nuclear fuel upgrades, all tools can blow away almost all types of leaves, almost instantly. The Nuclear Leaf and the Platinum Leaf enemy's unique bonus in Battlefield will help with blowing heavier leaves.

If you are farming Celestial Leaves, it is recommended to use The Celestial Blower. It is not as powerful as other tools, but each Celestial Leaf is worth 50 more. The radius this tool blows in is very small so you can accurately push leaves into enemies in order to more efficiently receive Celestial Leaves.
