Progression/Pyramid

Welcome to the Cursed Pyramid, get settled in cause it's a long way down to get out of here. To reach the next stage of progression, you must defeat pyramid floor -100 and then enter the Black Leaf Hole.

Pyramid Basics

At this stage, it is essential to work on trades and crafting, as they are key for Pyramid progression. The first thing to work on is getting 2 minute trades. 2 minutes is the minimum time possible for trades. Beer will become your limiting resource in getting further down the pyramid, and the only sensible way to acquire Beer in the amounts you will need is by raising your Trade Global Multiplier through crafted leaves and trading for it.

If you haven't gotten 2 minute Trades yet, you're going to have to grind the materials you'll need for alchemy. Unlock Kokkaupunki if you haven't already. Trading with Torvald will be the easiest way for you to craft the Leaf Essences you need to upgrade Penguino and Butterflyo. By this point you should have completed the Trader's Crunch challenge

Unlocking More Floors

In order to unlock more floors, you will need to make a sacrifice of Mulch, Cheese, Beer, and Ancient Leaves at the Cursed Pyramid.

With the exception of the Ancient Leaves, which need to be obtained by clearing Pyramid floors, the other resources can all be most easily obtained by trading.

If you haven't already, invest as many resources as possible into improving trade level and crafting level. 2 minute trades become essential at this point, so if you haven't already, make sure to upgrade Penguino, Butterflyo, the Water Unique Leaf, and complete the Trader's Crunch Challenge to get to this point.

Trading for Cheese will allow you to upgrade your crafted leaves, and leaves with a good Trade Global Multiplier will improve the amount of Cheese, Beer, and Mulch you can use to pay for more Pyramid floors and thereby get better Ancient Leaf rewards.

Trading

If you haven't already, make sure to complete the Trader's Crunch challenge. Upgrading Penguino to level 10 should be your next priority, followed by both the Water Unique Leaf and Butterflyo.

As your trade times come down, you should be prioritizing Cheese and Gems over other resources. The Better Pets gem upgrade will improve Penguino and Butterflyo and further bring down your trade times if you haven't gotten it already. The Better Unique Leaves upgrade will improve your Water Unique Leaf, so it's a second priority after the Better Pets upgrade.

Once you've gotten your trade times to two minutes, it is advisable to do a regular Prestige. Do not buy the usual sequence of leaves and flasks. Either leave it at Basic Leaves, or get Gold Leaves for the combo and maybe Platinum Leaves to have a few more ALB's working for you. What's most important is not to unlock Flasks, as trades with Flasks as the input resource will demand much more Flasks than you can reasonably accumulate, and thereby lock you out of trades. If you use seeds and clever trades to maximize the few leaves you do have unlocked to the cap, then every trade will be unlocked.

Getting Cheese will allow you to upgrade your crafted leaves, thus increasing your Trade Global Multiplier, which will in return make the trades available to you rapidly better and better.

The main problem though, is the Beer. Beer can only be obtained through trades leveled 17 and above. There are currently only 2 ways of increasing your trading level, both of these are from Trading Education, the upgrades are from BLC shop andMLC shop. Although, keep in mind that the BLC upgrades are much more effective than the MLC upgrades, as they level up all the way to level 50, while the MLC upgrades only level up to 10. Luckily, there is an artifact that provides 5% of your current BLC, the BLC orb. The BLC orb can single handedly get you to trading level 17. Firstly, you should equip Flocko and level it up to level 10, as it reduces offline artifacts cooldown. Then, trade enough gems so you can purchase the Offline Artifacts upgrade from the gem shop. When you got all these upgrades, start trading gems for 72 hour timeskips. Those will give you the highest amount of artifacts possible, in the shortest time possible (keep in mind that you need to collect the BLC orb once so you will get it offline). Trade for 72 hour timeskips until you get enough BLC for a level 17 trade. After that, you can trade for Beer, but there's a small chance you do that. You wanna level up to at least level 21 trades before stopping and starting to trade for Beers. You can boost your trades to the highest level, resulting in some trades which weren't originally above level 17, now give Beers. More trading levels are always good, so always try and level up Trading Education. Your end goal is to get all your crafted leaves to ascension 10, your trading level to 50+, and your Trade Global Multiplier to, well, as high as possible. Bingo challenges are so incredibly helpful if you're looking for Trade Global Multiplier, as their rewards are multiplicative, meaning all your Trade Global Multiplier gets multiplied by 8 upon finishing both these challenges. Crafting

Crafting is generally divided into 2 main sections: Trading, and Damage.

Trading Crafted Set:

Your first priority in crafting after acquiring enough upgrades to raise your crafting level high enough is to create a set of Ancient Leaves (with 80%+ Craft Quality on each) which have Trade Global Multiplier. These can then be upgraded with Cheese to improve them further. The upgrades add a huge amount of extra effect to your crafted leaves, so take advantage of your higher multiplier to trade for more and more Cheese. Your goal it to raise your Craft Forge levels high enough so you can get Ancient Leaves, and get a full set of those. Use a Crafting Scroll when you can craft them, so you'll get them faster.

Once you've gotten your Ancient crafted leaves to level 30, you can use the Ancient Leaves you've been earning at the pyramid to ascend your leaves, and further boost their modifiers.

You want to reroll your properties until you get Trade Global Multiplier, since as stated earlier, it increases the trade outputs. Also, as stated in the Trading section, the Bingo Challenges are incredibly helpful, as they provide 8x your total Trade Global Multiplier. Do NOT shard your Trading set, instead shard your damage set, as trading will slowly become less and less of a problem for you, but rather damage will.

Damage Crafted Set:

You need a damage set in order to defeat the Witch, as well as for passing deeper floors of the Pyramid.

If you have yet to craft a Damage set, as well as have yet to defeat the Witch, you wanna get an additional 8 Ancient Leaves (with 80%+ Craft Quality on each), and try to get at least 2 of the properties below on each leaf. After defeating the witch, you wanna craft Shards, and shard your Damage set as seen below. (See how to defeat the witch below, or here).

Witch

The Witch has 1e30 health, and at least 7.15e28 Slap Damage is needed to defeat her. While it may seem high, here are ways to increase your damage:

Defeating:

• Crafting:
  • Craft ascended Ancient Leaves with Blower Enemy Damage, Blower Enemy Damage% and/or Slap Multiplier%.
  • Trade for large quantities of Cheese by increasing Trade Global Multiplier (see above for more).
• Upgrade your gear:
  • Upgrade Unique Leaves to level 10 with Cosmic Essence.
  • Upgrade Pets to level 10 with Leaf Essence.
  • Upgrade Equipment to level 10 with Water Essence.
  • Level 10 is important for the primary bonuses.
• Equip Crabbo (blower damage +50%, or +100% at level 10) + Fisho (blower damage +15% and Slap Multiplier +5% or blower damage +30% and Slap Multiplier +10% at level 10) Butterflyo (buffs pets +20%, or +40% at level 10).
• Farm the Tower for more Equipment.
• Get more Curses with Curses/s.

Maximizing:

The Witch drops essence upon killing. Meaning we can finally brew Shards efficiently! Shard your damage set with the distribution above.

Floor -100

You need 1e41 Slap Damage in order to pass floor -100, and escape the Pyramid. You're so close. If you're struggling with damage:

Gear Level

• You should level up Crabbo, Fisho and Butterflyo all to level 10 if you haven't already.
• You should level up the Nuclear Unique Leaf if you haven't already.
• You should level up every single equipment to level 10, starting with Cursed Cheese.

Crafting

• Craft a better damage set. If your damage set isn't a fully ascended Ancient set, that's what you wanna aim for. It's worth buying the Craft RNG Manipulator upgrade from the Gem Shop now that gems are much easier to obtain. This way, when you Ascend leaves you'll also be increasing the RNG Quality%, which means better leaf property values and you save Beer. Crafted leaves should be 80%+ craft quality. If they aren't, craft better ones. Do NOT reroll Craft Quality, as it isn't worth it.
• By now you should be well acquainted with Shards. The optimal distribution of Shards is shown above (in the Crafting section).

Tower

• Get more Equipment. Equipment provides a massive jump in damage, especially Cursed Cheese if you have enough Curses.
• Climbing to higher Tower floors provides more damage, due of the Pyramid Milestones. If you hit the floor cap, consider crafting leaves with a More Tower Floors+ property.

Curses

• Defeat Cursed Cheese from the Cursed Halloween event (See more here). With maxed artifact spawn time reduction, including Flocko at level 10, along with a Pet Scroll and the Better Pets upgrade in Gem Shop, the spawn time of the Halloween Lantern should be around 40 minutes. If it hasn't spawned and is on a long timer, you can wait it out or spam Enchanted Fruit artifacts with the fruitifacts upgrade from the Obsidian Shop maxed.
• You should defeat The Cursed Cheese as much as you can, since it drops 1m (1e6) curses per kill, and this can be boosted with upgrades from the Cursed Halloween Shop. Additionally, you get 5% more damage per kill on every curse you have. Very much worth it.
• Kill the Witch. The Witch gives curses, and curses mean more damage. You also get more Witch Cards over time, and this also means more curses. (credit to dwynny)

Black Leaf Hole

Do NOT reclaim your shards on your damage set to enter the portal, as you'll need it back right when you enter it anyways. This is the most efficient way of getting around this problem:

• The Wobbly Wings artifact teleports you to a random available boss. Thing is, even if you didn't unlock the Black Leaf Hole, it teleports you to the first boss in the next area, which just so happens to drop Shards when defeated. You shouldn't have a problem defeating it, as you need less Slap Damage to defeat it than you need for Pyramid floor -100.
