Welcome to Sacred Nebula

  • Pyramid 100, huh? Wow, that must've taken a while. Now for Sacred Nebula, right? Well, hold on a second. If you don't have the 250 Shards for the portal yet, go ahead and get those. To make it easier, shard Witch Essence Multiplier on your crafted leaves, make sure Brew Crit Chance is on them too, and start brewing Shards. Make sure to get the Alchemy die (a drop from the Dice Battlefield) as it increases your brew crit by a solid 10% or more. It would also be beneficial to defeat the moonstone enemy 100 times as the 2% crit isn't bad either.

(Page updated as of LBR version 2.17.3)

Craft Sets

From here on, Craft sets are going to play a huge role in progression, so if you don't have these yet, go ahead and make 3 A10 Ancient sets. These will become your Damage, WEM, and Flex (or "reroll") sets. These sets will each be used significantly throughout Nebula and beyond.

Your Damage set will be used when trying to kill bosses (like you had to do in Pyramid, but harder).

Your WEM set will be used while farming Witch (You'll be spending a lot of time with her very soon).

And your Flex set will be used to do whatever you need in the moment without sacrificing the other two sets.

To Slay a Centaur...

From the moment you step through the Black Leaf Hole, you'll be greeted by a not-so-friendly Centaur. This is the first of 4 bosses in Sacred Nebula, and you'll need to kill Centaur to access most of the Nebula's resources. Thankfully you should already be pretty close, as he only takes 2.2e41 Slap Damage, and Pyramid 100 took 9.75e40 Slap, so you shouldn't need to grind too much more. Try farming some more Curses, Cursed Cheese, or Tower Floors to help you clear the gap.

The Biotite Forest

Even if you can't kill Centaur yet, there's still another area open to you: The Biotite Forest. This place is home to two new leaf types: Biotite Leaves and Malachite Leaves (common shorthand: "Bios" and "Malas"). To get started here, you'll need to learn a new trick: Piling.

Piling:

You've probably used a variant of this strategy back when you were farming Obsidian leaves, but the trick is a little different here:

Step 1: Start by equipping a high-blow power/range tool like Bellows, Grail, or Hightech Ace of Spades if you can, and make sure to have Nuclear fuel on your crafts.

Step 2: Use a Gravball to pull all the leaves to the center. Once the Gravball expires, all the Basic and Exotic leaves should be insta-blown, leaving only the Bios.

Step 3: Use a Wind just before the Gravball expires to make new leaves spawn quicker.

Step 4: Then pop another Gravball before the Bios get blown off to pull everything back to the center.

Step 5: Repeat 2-4 until you have a stack of just Biotite Leaves, then push the whole stack off screen as quickly as possible. Its easier to do this if you're sitting near, but not on top of, the pile when the last Gravball expires.

Step 6: Once the pile has been blown off, use a 72hr. Timeskip, and buy as much Fertilizer/Marketing as you can.

Step 7: Repeat this process as many times as needed to get whatever other upgrades you need at the time.

Malachite Leaves and Shardify:

All the upgrades in the Biotite Shop are helpful, but the one you really want is Unlock Malachite Leaves. This unlocks the Malachite Shop, which has more immediately-useful upgrades. Pile Malas the same way you did the Bios to stock up on those, and unlock the Shardify upgrade as soon as possible. This upgrade will allow you to convert your unused artifacts, 1,000 at at time, into shards, so you don't have to brew them anymore! Try to get 2 or 3 levels of Shardify++ first, then use this new source of shards to upgrade your craft sets. Don't get overzealous with it though, as many of your artifacts are still useful, even if its just to top off your BLC fresh after an MLC. Leave yourself at least 100k of each, and 72hr. timeskip with Flocko if you need more.

The Malachite Shop also offers "Focused" upgrades that increase the damage your upgraded Tools, Pets, Uniques, and Equipment provide, so definitely invest in these after you have Shardify taken care of. You can also go ahead and unlock Hematite leaves while you're at it, but you won't be seeing those leaves for a while, so it's not a priority right now.

Once you're done with all this, go ahead and kill Centaur if you haven't already and move on.

Sacred Leaves and The Ancient Sanctum

Once you kill Centaur, a new area opens up to you: The Ancient Sanctum. This place is home to The Sacred Nebula's namesake: Sacred Leaves. The Sacred Shop offers a variety of useful upgrades from enhanced brewing, to a bigger crafting backpack, as well as a new thing called Relics (We'll get to those later...). Wait, what's this? More seeds?! Yep, the Sacred Shop also let's you unlock new seed types for Ancient Leaves, the Gem Leaves you find in Tower, and even Mulch.

Just like in the Biotite Forest, go ahead and pile your Sacred Leaves so you can max out Marketing and Fertilizer, then try to focus getting these upgrades first: Unlock Relics, Leafcension Bot, Leafcheapeners, then unlock the new seeds. Once those are done, then you can buy out the Sacred Shop as much as you like. You won't be able to max everything yet, but you can get a fair few upgrades.

More Seeds!

Even though you've unlocked the seeds in the Sacred Shop, you still need to get your first level in them for them to do you any good, so here's the best ways to tackle them:

Meeds:

The Mulch Shop buffs all other seed gains, so you'll want to max out this one before you even start on the others. To do this, shard TGM on your Flex set, and focus down Mulch Trades until you can get your first level of Meeds. Then spam seed bags until you max your mulch storage and buy out the Mulch Shop.

Gem Farming:

All the gem leaves can be farmed the same way, but focus on getting Emerald first if you can. The Emerald Shop gives you offline seeds, which, when upgraded will allow you to max out all leaves that have a seed with just a 30 minute timeskip, making maxing the rest a breeze once you have their seeds.

Step 1: Equip the Holy Grail, and lock yourself in the center of the screen

Step 2: Swap your flex set to have Additional Emerald (or any gem) Leaves, and shard it. Also make sure you have More Tower Floors and/or Nuclear Fuel on your leaves if possible. You can get a single gem leaf faster the more crafts have the Additional Leaves property for that leaf, but you can just as easily have one of each to farm them all at once.

Step 3: Use a Vortex and climb Tower until you kill a tower boss.

Step 4: Clear EXACTLY ONE MORE FLOOR and leave Tower. This will mean that the next time you use a Vortex, it'll place you back at the boss floor.

Step 5: Go to Graphics Settings and turn down your menu transparency. This will help for the next few steps.

Step 6: Open up the Artifacts menu and scroll to the bottom.

Step 7: Use a Wind, then a Vortex, and once the boss has been killed and the Gem leaves are gone, use the area teleport button on any Artifact to leave Tower before you clear the next floor.

Step 8: Repeat Step 7 until you have enough Gem Leaves to buy the first level of each seed.

Step 9: Spam Seed Bags until you max your storage for all the Gem Leaves, then max out their shops.

Ancient Seeds:

You won't be able to easily get Ancient seeds until you can kill the next boss, but once you get the first level of these, just use a 30 minute timeskip or two to max the seed and the Ancient Shop.

More Uniques!

Sacred Nebula also unlocks many new Unique Leaves that are all extremely helpful. By now you should be able to meet the spawn requirements for several of them, so if you wanna crack their riddles on your own, scroll past this section and give it a shot. Otherwise, here's they are:

  • Borb leaf: Use the Leaf Blower in the Neighbor's Garden, with Borbo equipped while having at least 1e5 Borbs.
  • Equipment Leaf: Use the Airplane Turbine on Tower Floor 321.
  • Leafcension Leaf: Use the Hightech Ace of Spades on the Exalted Bridge with Snekko equipped.
  • Material Leaf: Use the Nuclear Shovel in Kokkaupunki with Ducko equipped.
  • Pet Leaf: Use the Large Trout at the Abandoned Research Station while having at least 1e4 Sacred Leaves.
  • Relic Leaf: Go to the Ancient Sanctum while having at least 1e5 Sacred Leaves with Deero equipped.
  • Shard Leaf: Use the Hightech Trout in the Biotite Forest while having at least 5e3 shards.
  • Tool Leaf: Use the Large Leaf Rake in the Volcano with Flocko equipped.
  • Unique Unique Leaf: Use the Large Trout in the Infernal Desert while having at least 1e9 Sand Leaves.

This one you can't get until after you kill the Air Elemental, but here it is:

  • Electrical Leaf: Use the Nuclear Trout in the Spark Range while having at least 1e3 energy.

Go ahead and get as many of these as you can and use Witch to upgrade them all at least to Level 10.

More Bosses!

There are 4 bosses in Sacred Nebula. Although Centaur was covered above, I'll list all the bosses here for easy reference. In order to access a boss, you'll need to have defeated the one before it.

For Centaur, you'll need 2.2e41 Slap Damage, or 1e38 Blower Damage to do it with Gravball/Wind

For Vile Creature, you'll need 2.2e44 Slap Damage, or 1e41 Blower Damage to do it with Gravball/Wind

For Air Elemental, you'll need 2.2e49 Slap Damage, or 1e46 Blower Damage to do it with Gravball/Wind

For Spark Bubble, you'll need 1.8e56 Slap Damage. This boss moves around, so Gravball won't work to well here...

Note: Do not attempt a boss unless you know you can kill it. If you can't kill it in time, you'll lose 25% of a random leaf storage, including Gem Leaves, Sacreds, Bios, Malas, and Hemas; so it's generally better to be sure.

Damage Grinding

The Sacred Nebula bossed can get pretty hard, Air Elemental and Spark Bubble especially are difficult for many, so here are some good ways to farm damage to help you overcome that gap.

Tower Floors - Pyramid Milestones -25 and -75 give you more (blower/slap) damage based on your tower floor, and it adds up fast. Sharding More Tower Floors on your Flex set and using 72hr Timeskips are great ways to get more floors quickly. 10x your floors, 10x your damage.

Equipment/Uniques/Pets Levels - This is just a free damage source. After lv 10, all of these start giving blower enemy damage for each level beyond 10, and considering that by this point you should long-since have a decent essence income from Witch, there's really no reason not to pump some of that into leveling these up.

Leafcensions - These things can give a very helpful global damage buff when you have the Relics to match. It'll be a slow grind, but farming these will be very helpful for the future.

Trout Levels (and equipment in general) - Trouts are also great for damage, as they give bonus slap damage in addition to blower damage from levels, but you should still level the rest of your tools also since they all give blower damage.

Making a good crafted damage set - If you somehow don't have a Damage set yet, time to get to work. The bonuses that crafted leaves offer is invaluable for early boss farming. More on that later.

All Relics - For the reasons explained in the next section, shard income shouldn't be a problem, so go ahead and use Alchemy to max out all your relics so that you'll get the most out of your Leafcensions.

Cards - Cards are an all around amazing damage source. All cards grant extra damage to the enemy pictured, but Rare cards and better grant additional Blower enemy damage % to all enemies, with Epic cards and better granting Slap Multiplier % on top of that, and the bonuses only get better with Mythic and Legendary cards (see Cards) so farming cards is an amazing source of damage if you're able to do it efficiently.

Electric Energy Shop - This shop doesn't become unlocked until you kill Air Elemental for the first time, but it offers an upgrade that buffs your relic damage bonus, so it is definitely worth upgrading as much as you can. It won't matter too much early on, but anything helps.

SHARDS! SHARDS! SHARDS!

There's a reason why most people in Sacred Nebula+ don't care about regular shards anymore, and if you haven't figured it out yet, to explain why, here's all the ways to farm shards:

Brewing - For 50 Dark Essence, and 10k Beer and Cheese, you can brew 3 shards at a time, or 6 with a Crit. Alchemy got you this far, but you're done with brewing basic shards, 'cause by now as you've already seen with Shardify, there are far better ways to get shards.

Shardify - By the time you get to Nebula, you'll likely have hundreds of thousands of Artifacts collecting dust because there's no way you'll be able to use them all. Well, now you can. Once you unlock the Shardify upgrade in the Malachite shop, you can convert 1,000 Artifacts at a time into shards, outclassing Alchemy by a lot. But wait, there's more...

Nebula Bosses - As you may have noticed, when you killed Centaur, he dropped some Shards. Not very many, but a few. Well guess what? All the other nebula bosses drop shards too! And in increasing quantities at that! These guys are going to become your main way of farming shards, but hold on a second before you dive off, it gets better...

Card Buffs - Once you've killed the Nebula bosses a few times, you'll start to get some of their cards. What's cool about this is that the Nebula boss cards all give a bonus called Enemy Shards Multiplier. This takes the shards that they drop and increases it by a percentage. The more of these cards you get, the more shards you earn, and the rarer cards grant bigger buffs, so they're a really big help.

Crafts - Crafted leaves from Sacred and up can also grant Enemy Shards Multiplier, but they also can give Enemy Shards Count, which increases the base shard drops. What's cool about crafts is that you can shard the shard-giving props, so when coupled with card buffs, you'll very quickly see your shard earnings go from meh -> ok -> good -> better -> even better -> "HOLY CHEESE THAT'S A LOT OF SHARDS!!!" -> "Shards? What are those? Oh, those things? I forgot they existed..."

So yeah, shards are easy to get. Let's move on.

The Spark Range

Once you kill Air Elemental, another area opens up: The Spark Range. Remember those Hematite Leaves in the Malachite shop? Go ahead and unlock those if you haven't already, 'cause this is where they appear. The Hematite Shop has tons of useful upgrades, so let's cover a few of the highlights:

Special Shards - The Hematite Shop is where you unlock the 3 special shards: Ascension, Fusion, and Transformation Shards. You'll need Fusion shards to make the craft tiers beyond Ancient, and you use Ascension shards instead of Ancient leaves to ascend them. Transformation shards let you reroll a specific property on a crafted leaf rather than rerolling all props, allowing you to optimize your craft sets with the props you want, though its still RNG which props come up.

Saturated Shards - This upgrade lets you put more shards onto your crafted leaves. The Ancient Shop also has this. You can't put more than 10 shards on a single prop, but these upgrades let you further optimize your crafts for a particular purpose. For example: Your WEM set should have 10 shards on WEM and any excess on Brew Crit.

Craft Forge - This is the upgrade that lets you access higher craft tiers than Ancient.

Bigger Crafting Backpack - Once you start fusing, you'll need as much backpack space as you can get, since you need to craft a bunch of leaves to make one of a higher tier.

Okay. Cool. But what am I supposed to do?

Right. Your first goal is to beat the centaur boss. If you can't instantly slap the boss, you'll need to grind more damage. There are a lot of ways to do this, so feel free to ask in channel because what you need might be different from someone else. However, don't forget that your max tower floors and pyramid floors add to your damage thanks pyramid milestones.

Alternatively, you can turn your reroll set into a nuclear fuel set and follow the pinned guides on pilling. You'll want to aim for 300k offline rewards for biotite before unlocking malachite. When you get that, timeskip (with flocko) to unlock malachite and you can do the same but aim for 200k. If you have trouble reaching those goals, check the piling checklist in the pins.

shards - FabeledLivid#8856

Early Nebula Guide for Shards

Step 1. Kill the centaur - See how the boss drops some shards? No need to keep brewing them with dark essence, just stockpile it for now.

Step 2. Pile sacred leaves with a nuclear fuel set, unlock leafscends and relics, unlock seeds for and gem leaves (check another pin for specifics)

Step 3. Unlock in the shop. Make sure you have ~200k biotite/min offline before you do this, as it becomes harder to pile bios with malas unlocked.

Step 4. Unlock Shardify in the shop. This allows you to turn 1000 artifacts into 10 shards. This can be increased by upgrading the Shardify+ in the shop. Now you should have plenty of shards to work with. If you run out, equip flocko and butterflyo and do some timeskips. If you have all the artifact upgrades, pet scroll, unique scroll, you should be getting 36k artifacts per 72 hour timeskip Shardify will be your main source of shards until you kill the Air Elemental.

Step 5. With your newly acquired shards, brew some common relics and leafscend some leaves. This should give you enough damage to kill the Vile Creature (batman).

Step 6. Farm curses at witch (10 shards on wcm/leftovers on wem), keep leafscending and brewing relics.

Step 7. Repeat step 6 until you have enough damage to kill the Air Elemental. After killing it, you unlock . Pile these and unlock the 3 special shards that you will be using for the rest of the game. Fusion, Ascension, and Transformation.

Step 8. Read the other pins for more detailed info after unlocking these 3 special shards. NOTE: If you are lucky and get a boss card, it will increase your shard gain greatly before unlocking! Good luck!

How to Pile biotite, malachite, and Hematite for big Offline gains:

Written By: @Jerrol Kay♦ (Sand Counter)

Reason to pile: We want to make piles and push them offscreen because offline gains are based on the maximum amount of leaves pushed offscreen and gained in 1 second and making piles is currently the most effective way to maximize this.

High offline gains + Timeskips = Big Profit

Step 1: Buy as much marketing and fertilizer for the leaf u want 60-70 marketing seems to be where people aim for and maxing out fertilizer is best

Step 2: You want a full set of Ascended Ancient Leaves(or higher) with Sharded Nuclear Fuel

Step 3: You want Monkeyo and Butterflyo as pets and the leaf scroll activated.

Step 4: Use either The High Tech Bellows or Ace of Spades, Turn ALBs off option to do so is in options under the gameplay tab.

Step 5: Set your blow power to 2-3% you want the % that will blow off the leaves u don't want the second gravity ball ends

Step 6: Position urself in the center of the screen and lock your character there (there is a setting in options that allows u to right click and unbind ur character from the mouse pointer)

Step 7: Use gravity orbs to pile leaves in the center of the screen when gravity ball end hit it again as soon as the leave u don't want piled get blown off, Keep doing this untill no more leaves are spawning and u only have the leaf u want.

Step 8: When only the leaf u want is on screen take control of ur char and move him to the far right of the screen ur next goal is to slowly blow the scattered leaves into a pile after the gravity ball ends and move them over to the far left edge of the screen but do not blow them off yet.

Step 9: When not close enough to move the leaf pile open the blc shop and bring ur blow power back to 100% then while in control of ur char open the artifact tab. I use a shortcut so I don't get anywhere near my pile.

Step 10: Active the wind artifact and push ur pile off the screen then move your character back across the screen to push as many of the spawning leaves as u can off.

Step 11: Profit.

Notes

1. Once you buy Malachite leaves it becomes much harder to get high amounts of offline Biotite as they spawn in the same area and Malachite is heavier.

2. If u mlc it resets ur offline gains so u will have to pile again.

3. Hematite leaves are much heavier then Biotite and Malachite so this is less effective until u have higher crafted leaf tiers with nuclear fuel+.

4. Using prestige u could make it so u don't unlock exotic leaves which might increase overall gain since they wouldn't spawn but I haven't tested the effectiveness myself if anyone does and its better let me know.

5. If anything seems wrong or needs more info let me know.

What are cards? How to get them and all their bonuses!

Cards are the latest new feature to hit LBR and they are huge! Cards can be obtained by killing enemies - Each enemy has a chance to drop a card of its own type (Eg. Killing a witch can drop a witch card) The drop chance is determined by your total card drop chance and the drop rate of individual card tiers. The maximum cards per tier is 10 - You can "ascend" these cards by using card parts and ascension shards to the next tier once you have 10 of them.

Drop chance can be upgraded from:

Milestones - 0.02% enemy card drop chance at Tower floor 251, 751 and 5001, 0.05% at Pyramid -51, -101 and -151

Gem Shop - 5 Levels each adding 0.5% to enemy drop chance

Supporter Perks - T1 adds 0.5%, T2 adds 1% (Total 1.5%) to enemy drop chance

Mulch Shop - 5 Levels each adding 0.02% to enemy card drop chance

Sacred Leaf Shop- 5 Levels each adding 0.02% to enemy card drop chance

Biotite Leaf Shop- 5 Levels each adding 0.1% to enemy card drop chance, 5 levels adding 0.2% to boss card drop chance

Malachite Leaf Shop- 5 Levels each adding 0.1% to enemy card drop chance, 5 levels adding 0.2% to boss card drop chance

Hematite Leaf Shop- 5 Levels each adding 0.1% to enemy card drop chance, 5 levels adding 0.2% to boss card drop chance

The tier drop rates are as follows:

- Common: 70.4%

- Uncommon: 23.4%

- Rare: 5%

- Epic: 1%

- Mythical: 0.2%

- Legendary: 0.05%

Cards can also be gathered by opening card packs - These can be purchased with gems or card parts

Card parts can be brewed with fusion and transformation shards [15 Transform, 5 Fusion, 3 DE -> 25 Card Parts]

There are 3 card packs that can be purchased: Common [300 Gems or 600 Card Parts], Rare [1000 Gems or 2000 Card Parts] and Legendary [4000 Gems or 6000 Card Parts]. Common card packs give 3 cards, 1 of which is guaranteed to be uncommon. Rare card packs give 4 cards with 1 guaranteed epic. Legendary card packs give 5 cards with 1 guaranteed mythical. It is recommended to brew the card parts to purchase card packs Note: You are limited to 6 card pack purchases with gems per day - No limit to card part purchases.

Note - Leaf Value Multiplier DOES NOT affect sacred+ leaves

Note2 - Tower Bosses are effected by regular drop%, not boss drop%

Note3 - Having a drop chance above 100% gives a chance for 2x drops
