Progression/Fire Fields

Welcome to The Fire Fields!

To enter the fire fields you need to first defeat the Energy Guard (the final boss of Energy Belt) and acquire the materials needed: 100 Borb Tokens, 10 Borb Runes and 5000 (5e3) Borb Juice.

Upon entering the Fire Fields, 2 new areas will be available: The Shadow Cavern and Mount Moltenfury. The first area won’t be of much use now but later on it can be used to reset the health of the Fire Fields bosses.

Fire Fields is commonly referred to as "Borbventure Hell". This is because you need many Heat Shield Borbventure Items to progress in the galaxy. Because of this, you should start work on your Borbventures ASAP. You should follow this guide for Borbventures.

Coal Leaves

Coal Leaves are at your reach! Visit Mount Moltenfury and start collecting Coal Leaves. Upon entering the area you’ll notice a new mechanic called Heat Damage. Unlike the heat damage faced in the Infernal Desert, this damage is percentage based and can only be reduced through Heat Resistance. Unlike other leaves, offline Coal Leaf gains are heavily reduced, so the best way to get Coal Leaves is to use Wind Artifacts while sitting in the center of the screen using The Bellows tool (Blow Power does not matter at this point, you want as much range as possible).

Your goal is to max the Heat Resistance upgrade from the Coal Shop, buy Boss Anti Regeneration, get the Borbcipher Borbventure from uncommon and higher Borbventures and get Prison Hint to 17/18.

The Fire Temple

The Fire Temple area is unlocked after getting the Borbcipher Borbventure from uncommon and higher Borbventures. The area features 18 cells. Left Clicking a cell increases the number by 1, while Right Clicking decreases it by 1. You can choose a number from 1 to 9 for every cell, forming a code. To get the code, you need to upgrade Prison Hint from the Coal Shop. Each upgrade reveals the number for the respected cell, starting from top left and going right with each upgrade. It is recommended to get Prison Hint to 17/18, and brute forcing the last cell. Spam clicking it will do the job.

After inputting the correct code, 2 new areas and 2 new Coal Shop upgrades will be unlocked. Them being the Flame Brazier area, The Fire Universe area, Green Flame Vulnerability and Spectralseeker Vulnerability. These areas feature the bosses below.

Green Flame

Green Flame is the first boss in Fire Fields. It is located in Flame Brazier. Unlike other bosses, Green Flame is not affected by Slap Damage/Blow Power. It can be damaged by leaves. It can also be damaged by a trout and ALB contact damage, but they deal an insanely low damage compared to leaves. Activating both Wind and Gravity Ball is recommended. You can increase the damage towards Green Flame through the Green Flame Vulnerability upgrade in the Coal Shop. Each upgrade provides +50% damage towards Green Flame.

If you've purchased Boss Anti-Regeneration from the Coal Shop, Green Flame won't regenerate health when either being blown away or leaving the area. Meaning that it doesn't matter how much damage you have, you will eventually defeat it.

Green Flame's Health increases with every kill, following this formula: $3e4+(TotalKills*1.5e4)$. To reset it's health, you can either pay 1000Borb Tokens to Borbiana Jones in The Shadow Cavern, or defeat Spectralseeker, which is the next boss.

Defeating Green Flame for the first time unlocks the Craft Sacred Leaves upgrade in the Coal Shop.

Death Book

Before moving on to the next boss, called Spectralseeker, it's time for Soul Boosting and maxing Witch's Death Book.

Purchase the Craft Sacred Leaves upgrade in Coal Shop. It is recommended to make a full Coal Crafted Set for Brew Crit Chance% and Brew Multiplier%. To help with this, purchase the Craft Sacred Leaves upgrade in Coal Shop.

AFK in an offline area (The Dark Glade is recommended), and level Witch's Death Book to 10/8. Then, level Green Flame's Soul Boost Chance to 1/10 and level Soul Boost Pity Counter as high as you can. Get enough Raw Soul Stones to upgrade Witch's Death Book to 10/10 and enough Iridescent Essence to level up Soul Boost Chance to 1/10 and Passive Soul Boost Chance to 1/10. This will be your method of getting Raw Soul Stones from now on. If you still need runes for Borbventures, level up Green Flame's Death Book and Kill Count to as high as you can. Before getting enough kills for 4/4, manually kill Green Flame until you get enough. Then, AFK in an offline area until you have enough kills for 10/10 Green Flame's Death Book.

While doing this, make sure to keep working on Borbventures, as you eventually wanna get 100% Heat Resistance.

Spectralseeker

Spectralseeker is the next and final boss of Fire Fields. It is located in The Fire Universe. Similar to Green Flame, Spectralseeker is not affected by Slap Damage/Blow Power. It can be damaged by leaves. It can also be damaged by a trout and ALB contact damage, but they deal an insanely low damage compared to leaves. Activating both Wind and Gravity Ball is recommended.

Unlike Green Flame however, Spectralseeker does regenerate health when being blown away or leaving the area. Meaning, that Heat Resistance is key to defeating the boss. You can increase the damage towards Spectralseeker via the Spectralseeker Vulnerability upgrade in the Coal Shop. Every Green Flame kill increases damage towards Spectralseeker by 100%*n, n being the amount of levels for the upgrade. This number resets with every Spectralseeker kill.

Spectralseeker's Health increases with every kill, following this formula: $3e4+(TotalKills*1.5e4)$. To reset it's health, you need to pay 3000Borb Tokens to Borbiana Jones in The Shadow Cavern.

Defeating Spectralseeker for the first time unlocks the Craft Biotite Leaves upgrade in the Coal Shop, as well as the Soul Portal area.

The Soul Portal

To progress to Soul Realm, which is the next galaxy, you need to open the Soul Portal. To do that, you need to pay 25 Soul Stones, 20 Strange Essence, and 2 Iridescent Essence.

To getSoul Stones, you need to brew them. It requires 20/30 Raw Soul Stones per brew (depends if brewed with Borbventure Ascension Juice or not).
