Starting the Game

Time to start gathering leaves. Push leaves off screen to earn basic leaves. Resources collected will be displayed on the right hand side of the screen on the Resource Menu. You will unlock the Tools Shop after collecting 30 leaves, and Leaves Shop after 50 leaves.

Probably the most effective method is Piling. Early on, barely any leaves spawn, and blowing them individually is painfully slow. The recommendation to get past Basic Leaves for the first time is to pile tens of leaves in one location and blow them off at the same time. Check offline rewards in the stats page how many leaves you get every offline minute, drop offline for like 2 mins, then rinse and repeat.

If you really want to, buying "All Leaves+" from the Gem Shop using the Fan Gift in the Supporter Shop may speed things up, after you Prestige for the very first time. Note that this is the best option even if you're not drowning in gems; you'll need to cut all gem expenditure for a long while. need to save up 350 Gems for Progression/MLC, to get the MLC coins x3 upgrade.

Resource Shops

Throughout the game, you will unlock shops that let you purchase upgrades to do more things, first of which is the Leaves Shop. In this stage of progression all leaf resource shops will look similar to each other, they will all have the following upgrades in addition to other upgrades that leaf type specializes in.

Unlock Leaf Type

Generically each shop will have an upgrade to unlock the next leaf type. These are usually the highest priority upgrade that you should aim to buy.

Trees

Trees spawn one leaves each cycle. This affects the overall count of leaves that spawn in. These are additive across all shops. Max level = 30.

Fertilizer

Spawn leaves "1% faster per level". This affects the amount of leaves this type will take up from the overall count when leaves spawn. Max level = 50.

Marketing

Increase the raw number of leaves rewarded by 1 whenever you push a leaf off the screen, multiplying your total rewards rapidly. These apply ONLY to the leaf in that shop (e.g. Basic for Basic, Gold for Gold). Second upgrade to prioritize.

Auto Leaf Blower

Auto Leaf Blowers (ALBs) are reverse roombas which push leaves off screen for you. These aren't necessary to purchase until you want to AFK or are in much further stages of the game. Max level = 3.

Nuclear Fuel

Increases blowing power for your character, it does not affect ALBs until later in the game. Max level = 30.

Tools, Blow Power and Range

The higher your blow power the faster leaves get pushed off screen. Higher leaf types are heavier and will be harder to push around, this requires higher blowing power to push them faster. There are two ways this can be increased by buying better tools or getting more nuclear fuel. Range on the other hand only affects the distance your blow power affects having consistent blow power throughout the range. The longer the time the leaf is within the range of your tool the faster they get as they are pushed for much longer. The gem upgrade “It’s Mine” let’s you keep your tools forever once you’ve bought them and is highly recommended as it will save time in later stages of progression.

First Prestige

Check the following links to access the shops for the earlygame leaves. Also including short forms I'll be using throughout the guide.

Gold: Gold Leaf

Platinum (plat):Platinum Leaf

Bismuth (bis): Bismuth Leaf

Cosmic (cos): Cosmic Leaf

Void: Void Leaf

All flasks: Flask Types

After a sufficient amount of piling and dropping offline for ten minutes, you should be able to access gold leaves. The recommendation here is to buy "Leaf Combo" to 2x leaf gain and keep piling.

Drop offline for five mins after a sufficient pile (2k basics/min, 100 golds/min). After which you should Prestige. You should get about 30 prestige coins; enough to buy the following upgrades

Unlock Areas - 20 coins

More Basic Leaves - 2 coins

More Gold Leaves - 2 coins

Prestige++ - 5 coins

Total: 29 coins. Ensure that you get this amount

Second Prestige and Bismuth Leaves

Your next priority should be to prestige again, but this time (As you'll have All Leaves+ and 25% extra prestige score), aim for atleast 200 coins. This may be extremely painful without the right upgrades, but here's how to ease it:

• Focus on collecting Platinum Leaves. These contribute the most to your Prestige score so it's the most worth.
• Keep the pile-and-drop-offline strategy going. It's extremely effective in these early stages of the game.

Finally prestige at 200 coins. Here's what you buy:

Mountain Area - 10 coins

3 levels in Prestige++ - 54 coins

4 levels in Discount - 59 coins

More Bis, Plat, Gold and Basic Leaves up to lvl 2: 36 coins

Total - 159 coins.

BISMUTH LEAVES are finally at your reach! These guys are just as important as our previous leaves; we need to pile them (and all other leaves) to at least 4e4 a minute. This should be extremely easy, if marketing and fertilizer are high. Buy the ALB Enemy Bumper for later and we can continue on for... yet another Prestige grind. Earlygame is repetitive, I know. But I've been through it.

Third and Fourth Prestige - Skip Space

Ok, ok, ok, ok. This probably sounds like the silliest thing one man can think of. But it's worked for me. Instead of buying the Space area and progressing as normal, we are going to skip right over it and go directly to the Void.

Our third Prestige is gonna be for about 775 coins. The purpose of this Prestige is to boost our Prestige earnings as much as possible for a huge grind in a few minutes.

Buy one more "More Leaves" level for every leaf, and spend the rest on Prestige++ upgrades; these will be ample for our major grind.

Said Major Grind

We'll need to pile each leaf type at least once, and get them to at least 5 e5 per minute. Assuming max marketing and a 5x combo (which you should have), each leaf gives you 635. Pile Gold Leaves in the Home Garden, Plat Leaves in your neighbour's garden and Bismuth Leaves in the Mountain, to maximize gains. Additionally, grind Gold Leaves to maximize your Combo as much as you can. 15x is mandate, but going up to 20x doesn't hurt. Dropping offline for an hour, or the night (depends on your taste), we can easily clear the 3.5k prestige coins we need.

Rest gets dumped into increasing Converter Count and Output. You should be able to convert flasks with a 20:1 ratio. We'll bump it up soon, but this is what we've got for now

Flasks and Converters

For walking through each flask from Red to Black, repeat these steps:

• Keep buying Converter Output until your efficiency is <=100% (this means you generate more of the next color flasks than you put in to the converter, so you can have it on autoconvert). Additionally, buy all other flask upgrades before moving on to the next flask.
• Buy the next color flask and start converting. Rinse and repeat
• While you're at it, use your Shovel (buyable from the Tools Shop) to dig up additional flasks. This is also super important to accelerate your flask gains.

You should be able to build your way through Science, and unlock the ability to BLC.

HOWEVER, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO HIT CRUNCH. I REPEAT: DONT EVEN TOUCH THAT BUTTON. CRUNCHING FOR 1-10 BLC DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR YOU.

With that you have passed the Basics (in a day, if the guide as been adhered to), and can move on.
