Welcome to Quark Ambit!

Upon entering the portal, you'll immediately unlock 2 new areas. The Quark Nexus and the Quantum Aether. Both areas contain Quark Leaf.png Quark Leaves. Quantum Aether however, also contains Quark Stone enemies. They have 200 Quark Health (more on that later), which makes them extremely easy to defeat.

Quark Ambit is the shortest and easiest galaxy in the game according to players.

Quark Reactor

After defeating Soul Mirage, you'll unlock the Quark Reactor. The Quark Reactor provides you with Quark Damage, which is required to deal damage in Quark Ambit (Blowing/Slap Damage is useless here).

Essentially, Quark Damage is based on your total amount of Quark.png Quarks.

To gain Quark.png Quarks, you have to add Quark Leaf.png Quark Leaves to the Quark Reactor, for a chance to obtain 1 Quark.png Quark (or more with the Efficient Quarks upgrade, see below). The chance of getting a Quark.png Quark is dependent on the amount of Energy in your reactor (Energy is displayed in a purple bar at the upper side of the Quark Reactor menu) and your Quark Add Chance.

There are 6 different types of Quark.png Quarks:

  • Basic Quark
  • Gold Quark
  • Strange Quark
  • Plasma Quark
  • Soul Quark
  • Cursed Quark

All Quarks behave the same, and have the same purpose.

You should save up Gem.png Gems in order to buy Quark auto add. This saves a lot of active work, and using this you will fly through Quark Ambit pretty quickly. After buying this upgrade, save up for Auto Quarkstige. This won't be useful at the moment, but will come in handy later on.

You should AFK in Quantum Aether instead of at the Quark Nexus to gain Quark Leaf.png Quark Leaves. In the meantime, you should get Quark Dice, and defeat the Quark Battlefield Leaf Enemy for the extra bonuses.

Atomic Arbiter

Atomic Arbiter has 512k (5.1e5) Quark Health. When fighting Quark Ambit bosses, it is strongly advised using the Wind Nuke Strategy. In short, the Wind Nuke Strategy is a strategy used for Quark Ambit Bosses, which uses Nuclear Fuel and the Wind Artifact.png Wind Artifact to deal higher damage to them. High Blowing Power blows the leaves off at a much faster rate than Gravity Ball.png Gravity Ball takes (as Gravity Ball.png Gravity Ball keeps the leaves outside of the bosses' (massive) hitbox in an animation while they are sucked in taking up valuable chances for new ones to spawn directly on the hitbox). This means that with the Wind Artifact.png Wind artifact, new leaves spawn much faster in the hitbox to do damage increasing damage output. (Unfortunately, this strategy does not on the mobile version). See how to use it here.

With Quark auto add, it shouldn't take you that long to gain enough damage. A Quantum Blob.png Quantum Blob is not needed in order to defeat the boss.

Cosmic Dragon

Cosmic Dragon has 32.7m (3.2e7) Quark Health. There's not much to add for Cosmic Dragon, except that a Quantum Blob.png Quantum Blob is still not needed in order to defeat the boss, if using the Wind Nuke Strategy.

Quantum Artificer

Quantum Artificer has 373m (3.7e8) Quark Health. It is recommended Quarkstiging at least once to gain enough damage, as it is quicker than having 0 Quantum Blob.png Quantum Blobs.

After defeating Quantum Artificer, you should turn Auto Quarkstige on, and let the game automatically Quarkstige for you. You'll gain more Quark Damage passively this way.

Enjoy Leafton Pit!
